A friend told me about this site. It is a great way to get rid of your gently used clothing and raise money for your favorite school at the same time. It is an online thrift shop with quality brand named clothing. Great prices for brands such as Davids Bridal, Guess, Ann Taylor, London Fog, and so much more. https://www.schoola.com/stitch?ref=cp-3X8e3zF8H
While drinking my coffee in the morning, I work on the small bank accounts that I have online. This is the money I will use on the many vacations that I hope to take. Reunions in Las Vegas and Scotland. Japan to visit a friend. Boston/New York, again to visit friends. I run http://www.swagbucks.com/refer/cotightwad videos on my phone while I earn points on my computer by taking polls and looking at offers.
I just signed up for http://www.instagc.com/1001098 and got $10 just for signing up. I added $5 to this by completing tasks. You can redeem in gift cards or cash. I plan to opt for cash. Another site that offers cash or gift cards is http://perk.fm/4rtp7. Phone app to watch videos, plays games, and more. Anytime you spend money and get a receipt, use http://app.receipthog.com/r/stund428 to get refunds. Add these to all the other that I use (listed on this blog) and my accounts are adding up nicely. Try them, have fun, and watch your account grow
I don't do a lot of online shopping, but when I do, it is nice to get great deals or money back. I have started using Ebates as one of my sources. Online coupons are available through this site, as well as money back. I am building up another online account. A Hawaiian vacation is getting closer all the time!
I am trying to find ways to add to my bank account while being at home. Direct sales is something I enjoyed as a Navy wife. I loved selling Tupperware. I don't feel like Tupperware is as popular as it once was, so not going back that route. I needed to buy some Avon and no longer have a representative, so I became one. It gives me a bit of a discount on the items I used to buy.
https://rhondasteele.avonrepresentative.com/ With Book Scouter, you can search the ISBN number and the scouter will pull up the sites that buy books. It will show the buy-back prices and give you an idea how much you can sell the book for. You can ship your books for free AND make money. There is a free app you can download on your smart phone, so if you are out at yard sales or rummaging around in Goodwill, use your app to see if it is worth buying that odd text book.
http://bookscouter.com/ I am always looking for ways to make money from home. This was in my email this morning. I signed up, but there is a long waiting list. Not sure how legit it is, but if I see something positive, I will post it. If you want to sign up and see if you can make money wearing advertisements follow the link
http://www.teespay.com/?kid=6RXJP This is a great deal if you live near a port. The cruise is free but you would be responsible for port fees, transportation and such. Read the fine print. I would use this as a fun getaway, if I didn't live in the deserts of Colorado.
http://caribbeancruisegetaways.com/?sid=266&aid=1682&subid=186&subid2=10552298&subid3=937 I don't have a garden. I kill cactus. I do frequent the farm stands that surround me, however, and buy only what I am going to eat. Once in awhile, someone with a garden will pass me freebies, but again, I try to take only what I am going to eat.
Yesterday, I picked up a yellow squash and a small zucchini. I sliced them thin and cut up a small onion. I stir fried the onion in a small amount of butter, just to soften it up. I put all the vegetables into a microwave dish and poured some Ragu brand spaghetti sauce on top. Covered, and put in the microwave until the vegetables were soft. I then sprinkled mozzarella cheese all over and microwaved again until the cheese melted. This was a nice light meal. Next time, I may stir fry the squash until it is barely softened to make it less crunchy. It must have been good. My mother, who only usually eats a small helping of dinner ate two helpings! The ingredients cost me less than $5. I have leftovers, enough Ragu to use for another meal, and didn't use even half of the cheese, so it proved to be an inexpensive meal. I served it with fresh peaches. To give credit where it is due, I believe this is modified from a Weight Watchers recipe. |
