I signed up with Groupon years ago, but never paid attention to it. After we opened our indoor mini golf business (Putter-a-Round in Harrisonburg, Virginia), we had to find free and inexpensive ways to advertise. My business partner checked into Groupon. Our small business was able to sign up to give discounts. It amazed me how many people actually found us on the site and downloaded their coupon to come play.
Now I look at Groupon all the time for gift shopping and coupons for activities for any town I visit. Locally, there are coupons for restaurants and museums and more. A bonus that Groupon offers is the Snap program. I get rebates for grocery shopping!
