I am always looking for ways to make money from home. This was in my email this morning. I signed up, but there is a long waiting list. Not sure how legit it is, but if I see something positive, I will post it. If you want to sign up and see if you can make money wearing advertisements follow the link
http://www.teespay.com/?kid=6RXJP This is a great deal if you live near a port. The cruise is free but you would be responsible for port fees, transportation and such. Read the fine print. I would use this as a fun getaway, if I didn't live in the deserts of Colorado.

I do frequent the farm stands that surround me, however, and buy only what I am going to eat. Once in awhile, someone with a garden will pass me freebies, but again, I try to take only what I am going to eat.
Yesterday, I picked up a yellow squash and a small zucchini. I sliced them thin and cut up a small onion. I stir fried the onion in a small amount of butter, just to soften it up. I put all the vegetables into a microwave dish and poured some Ragu brand spaghetti sauce on top. Covered, and put in the microwave until the vegetables were soft. I then sprinkled mozzarella cheese all over and microwaved again until the cheese melted. This was a nice light meal. Next time, I may stir fry the squash until it is barely softened to make it less crunchy. It must have been good. My mother, who only usually eats a small helping of dinner ate two helpings! The ingredients cost me less than $5. I have leftovers, enough Ragu to use for another meal, and didn't use even half of the cheese, so it proved to be an inexpensive meal. I served it with fresh peaches. To give credit where it is due, I believe this is modified from a Weight Watchers recipe. I don't know how long this offer is available so get them while you can
.http://ec2-52-10-127-91.com/ Until recently, I didn't HAVE a savings account. But, I want to go on vacation, possibly to Hawaii, I have income taxes that kill me every year, and I have work that needs to be done in the house I am living in. Without saving, I am not going to accomplish any of these. So here is what I have been doing in 2015:
Every five dollar bill and coin that ends up in my wallet, goes into the bank. I still use cash when possible, so always have change and occasionally a fiver. I like playing scratch off lotto tickets. If I have a stray one dollar bill burning a hole in my pocket, I will buy a scratch off. All winnings go into my savings account. So far, I have won more than I have spent, so it is working.....for now. I am a widow on a pension. I have to stretch that paycheck through the month. I have been shopping via coupons, groupon, amazon, where ever a bargain is to be had. I have also downloaded various shopping apps and use them for rebates. When I hit an amount I can redeem, it goes into my savings account. With bargains and careful shopping, I manage to still have money in my checking account at the end of the month. That money transfers into my savings account, be it $20 or $200. Then I start the month of saving all over again. I am maxed out on credit cards thanks to a big move across country, and being unemployed for too long. I have worked out a budget, and trying hard to stick to it. I am paying monthly minimums on my smaller interest cards and paying extra on the higher interest card. When that is paid off, I will work on the next highest. I want these bills to go away. I see a light at the end of the tunnel. I am always looking for ways to save and earn, so any ideas left in the comments section would be great. I love the ease of Swiffer. I am not a lover of housework so the easier the better. I had Swiffers for a few years but it wasn't very thrifty. So I went back to the conventional mops. I just never felt my floors were as clean as I wished them to be.
That is when I discovered Reveal. Unlike the Swiffer wet mop, the bottle can be refilled, using your favorite cleaning solution. The pads are washable and reusable. I make my own cleaning solution using borax, vinegar, and Dawn. It is fresh smelling. I don't like all the chemical smells of store bought cleaners. It is also very inexpensive, so my checking account like its. Disclaimer: I am not paid by Rubbermaid to endorse this product. I REALLY like it! I signed up with Groupon years ago, but never paid attention to it. After we opened our indoor mini golf business (Putter-a-Round in Harrisonburg, Virginia), we had to find free and inexpensive ways to advertise. My business partner checked into Groupon. Our small business was able to sign up to give discounts. It amazed me how many people actually found us on the site and downloaded their coupon to come play.
Now I look at Groupon all the time for gift shopping and coupons for activities for any town I visit. Locally, there are coupons for restaurants and museums and more. A bonus that Groupon offers is the Snap program. I get rebates for grocery shopping! If you don't have an account, check it out https://www.groupon.com/visitor_referral/h/1aa94b33-d8cd-40fa-b697-4dd697eb30f8 I found another site that offers points for shopping. If you buy Kellogg's products, which include Pringles, Keeblers, Morning Star, and more, you might has well be getting something back for your purchase. Points can be redeemed for free goodies such as books, kitchenware, gift cards, etc.
