Back in the day, I saved all my labels, box tops, packaging, and then I scouted in newspapers, on grocery store coupons walls, etc looking for rebate forms. I would get books and cute little toys for my daughter, free products, and on occasion a little check in the mail It was a rough hobby, and not very neat. I had a closet full of "trash", just waiting for the right rebate form. I haven't been able to find rebate forms for years.
After adding a smart phone to my life arsenal, I have discovered apps such as Checkout 51, Snap by Groupon, and Saving Star. I have small accounts with all of them, but I find I don't use many of the products they offer rebates on, or I have to buy multiples, which I don't do much of. The other day I was introduced to Ibotta. I love it! It offers more rebate items than the other sites, and more generics. Yesterday I went out for 3 items. Beer, dog food, and milk. I never can decide what beer I want but Blue Moon had a nice rebate, so that was my choice of the day. I was able to get a small rebate back by buying a bag of dog food of my choice as well as a gallon of milk. I have $3.70 in my account just on one small shopping trip. Add coupons, store frequent shopper cards, and sales, this will be a great way for me to save money on my shopping trips. You can check it out using this link.
